EVENTS: The DWRS is sanctioned by Rally America, and is organized by Team Vanquish in cooperation with the Pacific Rally Group (PRG).
The events qualify for the 2008 NW Rally Championship. Competitive scoring shall be in car classes i.e. Open, PGT, Prod, GP5, and GP2, additionally,
a novice class will be scored with novice drivers designated for year 2008 by PRG and the Oregon Rally
Group. If there is a question concerning car class the final decision will be made by event scrutineer.
Car preparation shall be as previously defined in the 2006 Rally America Regulations for
Rallies.
ENTRY: Entry to the event requires: Prepaid entry fee, valid Drivers License, valid Rally America Competition License for driver and co-driver, proof of vehicle liability
insurance and valid registration for rally car and service vehicles.
A Rally America license may be purchased at event.

AWARDS: NW Rally Championship awards will be presented for each rally for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
finishers in respective car classes and novice class. 1st place overall winners in each class for the
combined rallys shall be presented awards. 1st Overall for the two events shall be awarded trophies.

GENERAL INFORMATION : The Saturday night pizza feed will be at the Olympic Inn
The DWRS will take place on roads owned by six different land owners. The permission obtained to
use, and re-use, these roads, is largely due to letters written after previous events, by competitors
and rally support personnel, to the landowners, thanking them. That practice, along with our monetary
support for local community businesses, such as the Taholah Mercantile, food banks, and local restaurants
and motels, will ensure our continued road use in the future.
In Grays Harbor County, the local food banks are a vital part of sustenance for many families.
Our unemployment rate is the worst in WA State. The Oakville food bank has paid their building
rent each year from your generous donations and proceeds from our awards banquet.

(even $5.00 helps). A large number of children at the North River School depend on sustenance
from the food bank.
