Welcome to the seventh annual Saginaw Logger's Day Show.

Each year someone asks how this show got started. Well, it goes like this. I was talking to Ray Damitio and said to Ray, "How about us doing a log show in the back field?" Ray said "How about you doing a log show in the back field?" After some discussion, I talked it over with some of the local folks and we seemed to have enough interest to kick it off. With the participation of a few people like Lewis Thompson, Tim Westling and Lew lande and a few others we were able to make it happen with alot of work. Those of you who were here the first year probably notice the changes, including a well manicured lawn, a new pavilion, the Tyler rigging setup for the steam donky and a various other improvements. Over the next two years participation and interest have increased

It is a joy to see the community of North River pull together and particpate in this annual event. This show is for the local loggers who work in the woods and to their heritage which is an important part of the North River Valley's history. We hope everyone enjoys this year's show and the community spirity for which it is all about.

Thanks for visiting. Check us out again, soon!
