For those attending the Doo Wop Rally (and others interested in this effort) I will have the following information posted at Registration, just giving a “heads Up” in case anyone wants to shop beforehand.
Please forgive my using this site for requesting your support for our service personnel working, fighting and dying in Iraq during the U.S. Invasion and Occupation of that country.
S.O.S. SUPPORT OUR SOLDIERS - A $10.00 DONATION WILL PAY FOR SHIPPING A FLAT RATE BOX TO A SOLDIER IN IRAQ. $20.00 WILL HELP FILL A BOX. - OR-PLEASE DONATE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Small tubes of “Fast Orange” Individual packets of “Go Jo” Juice
- Easy to pack and eat munchies
- Tims Cascade Jalapeno chips
- Drink mixes, especially individual packets (Crystal Light has some)
- Gatorade (yellow is a favorite)
- Mens mags such as Maxim or FMH
- Gun and Car Magazines
- Jerky, Pepperoni
- Wet Wipes
- Fly paper you can hang from a ceiling.
All donations will be used to send packages to Warren Brough, currently stationed in Iraq. Warren will share all donations with his fellow soldiers. They currently are living in an area the size of the Aberdeen Parking Lot, so you can imagine, any morale boosting from home will mean a great deal to these men and women.
